Tatami Iwashi is a traditional Japanese delicacy from the Maruki brand. It is made from fresh small sardines (shirasu) that are sun-dried and pressed into flat, tatami-mat-like sheets. The product has a beautiful white color and a subtle aroma of the sea. It's perfect as a snack, a side dish, or an appetizer to pair with sake at an izakaya or during an omakase course.


Usage
Can be eaten as is, directly from the package.
