Product Description
Our Mehikari (greeneye fish) is a popular deep-sea fish from Japan's Tohoku and Kanto regions. The meat is soft and fluffy, with a naturally sweet taste and a pleasant fat content that makes it crispy on the outside and tender on the inside when fried. Each fish is lightly coated with a Japanese-style flour and flash-frozen, so it's ready to fry straight from the bag. It's perfect for making Mehikari Karaage and serving with a squeeze of lemon or a side of salt or ponzu sauce in the classic izakaya style.

 
Usage
Do not thaw.
Deep-fry in hot oil at 170-180°C for 3-4 minutes, or until the surface is crispy.
Serve with a lemon wedge, grated ginger, or Japanese salt.
 

Storage
Store in a freezer at -18°C.
Do not refreeze after thawing.
For the best quality, use within 6 months from the production date.
