Our Akauo (Red Rockfish) is a deep-sea fish from Japan known for its firm, sweet, and fragrant meat. This product features the prime center cut of the fish, which is meaty and has no head or tail, making it incredibly convenient for restaurant use. Usage
Thaw slowly in the refrigerator (0-5°C) for about 6-8 hours.
Cook by grilling (on a charcoal grill or in an oven), simmering in sauce, or marinating in miso before grilling.
It is often served with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce or a soy sauce-based dipping sauce.
Storage
Store in a freezer at -18°C.
Once thawed, use immediately within 24 hours.
Avoid refreezing to maintain the fish's shape and flavor.
