Product Description
Our sashimi-grade scallops, sized 2S, are sourced from the deep waters of Hokkaido. They are additive-free and do not contain any added water. Using the Tunnel Freezer IQF method, we flash-freeze each scallop to lock in its original freshness.
These scallops are perfect for Hotate Sashimi, Hotate Yaki (grilled with butter and soy sauce), and other premium Japanese dishes. The 2S size is ideal for single, elegant servings in an omakase course. They have a natural sweetness, a firm and plump texture, and a melt-in-your-mouth quality when served raw.
Usage
Thaw the scallops in the refrigerator (0-5°C) for 6-8 hours.
They are ready to be used as sashimi immediately, or you can cook them by grilling, steaming, or baking with butter.
We recommend serving them with a lemon wedge, wasabi, and premium soy sauce.
Storage
Store in a freezer at -18°C.
Once thawed, use within 24 hours.
Do not refreeze to maintain the texture and flavor.
