Our Tsuji Yellowtail Fillet is a premium, ready-to-use Japanese yellowtail. It's expertly cut into a half-fillet with a firm texture and a high-fat content, giving it a natural, sweet flavor. It's a versatile ingredient for a wide range of dishes, including sashimi, buri teriyaki (grilled with soy sauce), or buri daikon (simmered with daikon radish).
This fillet is an excellent choice for any Japanese restaurant that wants to manage its own portion sizes. It's flash-frozen using the IQF method to ensure the meat maintains its shape and doesn't fall apart after thawing.
Usage
Thaw by placing the fillet in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours or in a sealed bag in cold water.
You can slice it for sashimi, grill it with soy sauce, marinate it with miso, or simmer it with daikon radish.
For best results, use a sharp knife when slicing to maintain the fillet's shape.
Storage
Store in a freezer at -18°C.
Do not refreeze after thawing.
Once thawed, use within 24 hours.
If you've sliced the fish, store it in an airtight container or vacuum-sealed bag.
