Kirimochi, or cut rice cake, is a ready-to-use dry mochi made from 100% high-quality Japanese glutinous rice. The Usagi brand carefully selects ingredients with no additives, wheat flour, or preservatives. When cooked, the mochi becomes soft and chewy with a distinct, authentic aroma of Japanese rice.

This product is perfect for various Japanese dishes, such as grilled mochi (Yakimochi), added to soups like Ozoni or Oden, or even for fusion dishes like cheese mochi or fried mochi.


How to Use
Grill: Toast the mochi on a toaster oven or a pan (without oil) until it puffs up and is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Soup: Add it directly to soup or miso soup to let the mochi absorb the rich flavors.
Fusion Dishes: You can also bake it with cheese or drizzle it with a Japanese-style soy sauce and sugar glaze.
